Sculpture Garden Maternity Session
Three months postpartum (& living through COVID-19), I’m finally getting around to sharing our sculpture garden maternity session. This impromptu session was dear to our hearts because not only was it to commemorate this miracle inside me, but my brother shot these around the holidays.
Last-Minute Maternity Session Shenanigans
Talk about us being last-minute, these were taken a couple of weeks prior to giving birth! We had so much going on last year and during the holidays, that having a formal maternity session was last on my mind. But after encouragement from a friend to get them done and realizing that we don’t have many photos together as a family, we asked my brother.
We were so grateful he was able to shoot our maternity session because he was only home for a couple of days. Everything came together. It was the first sunny day, after days of much-needed rain. I found a dress in my closet that actually fit my growing belly, quickly YouTube a loose-wave hair tutorial, and did my own makeup. Bentley was fresh from the groomers several days prior and Wayne didn’t need any primping. We loved how these turned out.
Clear skies, hands clasped, growing belly & thankful hearts–
we will forever treasure these captures.
